Presentation Spotlight:

Advanced Automated Analysis of CIS

When: Thursday, April 30, 11:25 - 12:05 PM ET

Close Interval Survey (CIS) is used to assess pipeline cathodic protection (CP) and coating integrity. This method automates analysis of large datasets, detects anomalies such as under/overprotection and coating degradation, and applies signal processing to identify potential stray currents. Text parsing enables the extraction of infrastructure features and AC voltage values from survey comments, supporting spatial correlation with CP anomalies for improved diagnostics.
